1. I've found a plugin to
accomplish what you're looking for. I'll open an issue to get that installed.
2. The next major version of our portal software includes attachments
in private messages. I think this feature is close enough, is it?
We're planning to do the upgrade in April.
3. This is actually already part of the specifications, however, new
features for the project management sites are currently not in scope.
So it might take some time until this gets done.
